Wendt Design

Wendt Design is situated in the very heart of Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
Their workshop in Smallegade 52 forms the basis of Wendt Design’s production of hand printed cushions and rugs.

The whole story started with the DOT cushion design from 2001 and since then, new cushions and rugs have joined the family. Wendt Design has become part of the contemporary interior scene in Denmark, USA, Japan and the rest of Europe.

Wendt Design's collection is created out of a desire to make a synthesis of textile quality, pattern and form. The products are designed as a series and match each other beautifully in colour and style.

Each cushion is hand printed on a knitted felted 60% wool 40% alpaca mix. Then it is steamed, washed, sewn and painstakingly quality controlled at the workshop before they ship it out.
