Søgaards Brewery
Søgaards Bryghus is located in the 'heart' of Aalborg. On C.W. Obels Plads - the cosy little square near Budolfi Church.
The persons behind 'Søgaards Bryghus' are Lisa & Claus Søgaard, whom both have a past in the hotel & catering business.
They started together on Roslev Kro on Salling back in 1990 and ran the place for 7 years. After that they searched for new challenges on Mors where they succesfully got the run down Hotel Pakhuset up to todays high standards and demands.
BilledeIn 2004 the time was up for new challenges and Søgaards Bryghus became a reality in the old soup kitchen on C.W. Obels Plads.
The brew house is in two storeys. The first thing you see on ground level are the two big copper kettles, that send out the delicious odour of hops when brewing. Also at ground level you find the restaurant with a capacity of 125 dining guests and the bar area where 50 people can be seated. Here is the new section of the brew house 'Kedlen' also to be found.
In the basement you find the brewery where you can follow the brewing process through the big display windows. In the basement you also find a room for private parties and meetings for up to 100 people.
