Indslev Brewery

Founded as Bryggeriet Heimdal in 1897. The name changed to Indslev Bryggeri in 1944. Named Bryggeriet Juelsminde briefly 1953-1955. The brewery only brewed low alc. sweet malt beers. Production of beer ceased 1973 and only sparkling soft drinks were produced at the brewery. 1st of October 1990 the last soft drinks were bottled and the brewery closed due to hard competition. The new Indslev Bryggeri is owned by the 27 year old Anders Busse Jensen, who is the great grand child of the founder's brother(the original founder of Indslev brewery back in 1897). This will be a purely wheat beer brewery.

Notes: This award-winning dark lager looks and smells like brown sugar, yet its flavor is surprisingly dry and complex. Slightly smoky and full of caramel and coffee, balanced by a generous dose of peppery German hops.

Notes: An IPA for lager fans, flush with herbal and citric hop flavors. A showcase for the Cascade hop varietal, this blonde beer refreshes with orange and pine flavors, ending with a clean and mild finish.
Food pairings: Curry (Thai, Indian); barbecue; modern Japanese; Italian; crab; Mexican; salad.
